Get ready to ride the lightning once more—Metallica have just unveiled a fresh round of UK and European dates for their massive ‘M72’ tour, stretching the epic run into 2026.
Since 2023, the metal legends have been on an unprecedented global journey supporting their latest studio album, 72 Seasons. Now, the band is showing no signs of slowing down, as they gear up for another summer of thunderous stadium shows across Europe and the UK.
The 2026 leg kicks off in May with colossal performances in Athens, Bucharest, Chorzów, Frankfurt, Zurich, Berlin, Bologna, and Budapest. Come June, the tour heads to the UK and Ireland with stops in Dublin, Glasgow, Cardiff, and finally, two blowout shows at London Stadium on July 3 and 5.
Fans can expect more than just a repeat performance. True to their ‘No Repeat Weekends’ promise, each of the two-night shows will feature entirely different setlists and opening acts—making each night a unique experience. Single-date concerts will also showcase the full production and that now-iconic in-the-round stage setup.
The support roster packs a punch: Gojira, Knocked Loose, Pantera, and Avatar will be joining various dates. It’s a lineup that guarantees heavy riffs, sweat-drenched energy, and unforgettable nights.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST on Friday, May 30, with early access available to fan club members from Tuesday, May 27 at 11am. As always, a portion of every ticket sold will support local charities through Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation.

And if you’re not in Europe? Don’t worry—Metallica are still cranking it loud on the North American leg of the tour, and they’ve even got a cutting-edge VR concert film shot in Mexico City on the horizon.
